Gulnoza Tursunova, J.D., Law Clerk

Gulnoza Tursunova, J.D. serves as a Law Clerk at JAKO LAW LLC, working directly under the supervision of Aleksandra Jako, Esq. and Aaron Spivack, Esq. She supports the firm’s real estate transactional, landlord-tenant, litigation, and traffic matters, contributing to contract drafting and review, attorney review negotiations, motion practice, case preparation, and strategic research.

Gulnoza earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she received the CALI Award for the highest grade in Legal Analysis. Her academic distinction reflects the analytical precision and disciplined reasoning she brings to every case.

Prior to joining JAKO LAW, Gulnoza gained substantial hands-on experience through legal internships in both Illinois and California. She conducted complex legal research, drafted memoranda and briefs, participated in client interviews, and assisted in case strategy development. Her experience includes representing clients in mediation, preparing declarations and filings, and working directly on high-stakes matters involving employment and immigration law.

In addition to her legal training, Gulnoza has practical exposure to real estate operations, having previously worked as a Closing Scheduler coordinating high-volume transactions. This operational experience provides her with a practical understanding of deal flow, deadlines, and the mechanics behind successful closings.

Fluent in Russian and Uzbek, and conversational in French and Spanish, Gulnoza brings strong communication skills and cultural fluency to client-facing matters. Gulnoza is currently sitting for the Illinois Bar Examination. She continues to develop within the firm’s practice with a focus on precision, strategic thinking, and client-centered advocacy.
