Aleksandra K. Jako, Esq., Managing Member

Raised in a family with generations-deep roots in real estate development, commercial construction, and sales, Aleksandra K. Jako, Esq. has devoted her career to serving the Chicagoland real estate community. Her exposure to real estate law began early, working alongside her family’s transactional and litigation attorneys while still in high school. At just 18, she became a licensed Realtor®, gaining firsthand experience guiding transactions from contract to closing while working full-time as a law clerk for respected Chicago real estate attorney Aaron Spivack. Under his mentorship, she participated in and observed thousands of closings, building a strong practical foundation in real estate law.

Upon admission to the Illinois Bar, Ms. Jako immediately established her practice, drawing upon her years of hands-on experience in both legal and sales capacities. She focuses her practice on representing Buyers and Sellers in residential and commercial transactions, as well as advising corporate clients on entity formation, dissolution, compliance, and joint venture agreements. Her services extend beyond the closing table to include estate planning matters such as establishing land trusts, quitclaim deeds, powers of attorney, and wills.

Ms. Jako has expanded her practice to represent contractors in mechanic’s lien claims and construction-related disputes and serves as general counsel to several construction firms.

In addition to her real estate and business practice, Ms. Jako represents clients in traffic matters and misdemeanor criminal defense, providing diligent and strategic advocacy to protect their rights and interests.

Committed to excellence and precision in every matter she handles, Ms. Jako is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, and the Serbian Bar Association of America, where she was honored with the 2014 Past President’s Scholarship Award. She frequently volunteers as a speaker for real estate and nonprofit organizations, educating the public on key issues related to property ownership and real estate transactions.
